So.. It’S TRUE
So.. my subscription runs out this month.. and I didn’t return even once.
Ah.. addiction is nice when its broken.. but them was some good times. Maybe I might come back in a year or so. I’m sure the Tax Collector would like to have a few more good times.
In Other News – Ultron!
Yeah, saw Age of Ultron. Not sure about you, but at this point if anyone asks who my favorite superhero is.. I know who it is now, without any doubt.
Ultron.
Not sure if that makes me ultra-sane or ultra-crazy.. but I really wanted him to win. It’s not like I hated any of the Avengers (I think how they handled Hawkeye by making him the “soul” of the Avengers was truly inspired), but it was like.. I GET Ultron.. I connect with Ultron.
This is probably my favorite scene:
And damn.. James Spader.. just Wow.. words do not describe how perfect his voice is for Ultron.
So.. now I am going to start researching the Ultron mythos… hmm…
Life and Stuffs
Well, my college days may or may not be over. I am doing finals right now for my Accounting Technician degree.. which, although hard, should allow me to graduate. But, I might be able to go a two more years and get my Bachelors in Accounting too. Not sure yet if I will get approval, but here is to hoping.
Aside from that..well, there is nothing else right now. Just the hope that this summer I will be able to take our boat out and do some fishing.
And maybe.. just maybe.. dream of Eve.

Congrats. I have accepted my addiction to the game with open arms. I hope you do well on your finals and good luck with the fishing!

I can remember the original comics when they came out all those years ago, and the Vision was a favorite of mine. Now I really like Paul Bettany as an actor, but I’m just not sure. He always seemed such a stern character, and this portrayal seemed, well, kind of innocent. Newborn and all, I understand. But if Ultron had had a good go at snuffing you out, I can’t imagine you’d have hatched in a particularly good frame of mind…
Re Hawkeye, I really liked it that he was a family man. And the rest of the Avengers, privy to all sorts of level 22000 secrets, had no clue. It was very well done imho.

Yeah, we’ll have to see how Vision plays out.. but so far, they’ve done well with all the characters. I like Paul Bettany as well, but we really didn’t see him get flushed out yet and I think that is a critical point. Going back to Hawkeye, it would have been just as easy for Joss Wheton to just keep him sidelined as an ancillary character and no one would have really cared. But he didn’t.. and really made him rather important, and if he can do that with a guy who doesn’t really have anything “super” about him besides his accuracy, then I think we can expect to the Vision to be well done.
But I still want Ultron back.

Ultron is not really a superhero but more of a villain.
He was really cool but he also really needs to read the evil overlord list and look at the not gloating or plot explanation to prisoners thing. To be fair, if I was Ultron I would do the same. After all, even villains are looking for recognition and without gloating it’s not a real victory.
One day there will be a superhero movie where the heoes do not depend on supervillain stupidy.
